Description: An amazing new 7" from Run Logan Run's Andrew Neil Hayes. Taking what seems like a sparse set of elements, Hayes' approach revolves around a trio of components which comprise of saxophone, moog synthesizer and a reverb pedal. Hayes presents the diminished sketches of 'Metal/Wood' in which a protracted drone of coiling clicks, whispers and analogue sounds combine to present complex impressions that expand well beyond the individual elements. Crumbling experiments slowly come to life, 'Metal/Wood' is a must have.
